Chocoholic Chocolate Homemade Playdough
Do you know a little chocoholic?! I sure do! Perhaps a little baking enthusiast or a chocolate cake connoisseur?
Packed with all the sensory excitement that playdough itself provides, there’s the added stimulation by including colour plus the additional DELICIOUS chocolate scent smell (from the cocoa powder).
This recipe uses our 5 minute no-cook, easy 4 ingredient simple homemade playdough recipe. Click here for this, otherwise all info is below, too. It’s so easy that the kids can get involved with this too. You can sit back and make yourself a cup of tea (well… almost, maybe!)
This playdough is taste-safe (taste-friendly), has no nasties and makes enough for 4 kids to have a sizeable chunk to play with peacefully. If you are making for smaller toddlers/babies, then this amount should be good for about 8-10 little ones.
Feel free to add props to the creative process… sprinkles, cupcake cups, mini candles and extra cocoa powder should all help the little chocoholics on their way!
Chocoholic Chocolate Homemade Playdough – You’ll need:
2 cups of plain flour (gluten-free flour works just as well)
1 cup of salt
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup of cold water
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Simply mix and knead all of the ingredients together in a bowl, until they bind together and are all mixed well. If the dough is still a little wet, add some more flour until you are happy with the consistency. if too dry, add a little water.
Leave the dough to rest for a few minutes, whilst cleanup us underway ( I know.. I wish!)
Then… let the chocoholic antics begin!
